Great Ride for Great Strides (Cystic Fibrosis)

I'm so excited about our first Cystic Fibrosis Motorcycle Ride happening on June 7, 2008. I've always wanted to do a ride in honor/memory of Katrina, but just didn't know how to put it together. Thanks to Bill and Gail Cassell of the Bayside Believers Chapter, Christian Motorcyclists Association in Glen Burnie, Maryland, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Maryland Chapter, the motorcycle ride will be accomplished. Bill and Gail also know Scott and Wendi Clough from their church who also asked Bill and Gail to help with a ride. Interesting that they would be asked to put a ride together from two different people that didn't know each other, but shared a common link. Their children had (has) cystic fibrosis. Our motorcycle ride took place!! We had about 70 bikes, at least 30 bikes short of what we hoped for. Next year we'll just have to work harder and try to get the word out more. Below are pictures of our ride. We raised roughly $2,100.00. My thanks to everyone who participated!
